Purposely bred with predictability in temperament, attitude and structure, generation after generation!
2010 Tyramara Registered All Rights Reserved

Tyramara is a small home based breeder of registered miniature poodles. We breed to the Canadian Kennel Club and American Kennel Club standard mainly for show . Only a few of our puppies have the qualifications for the show ring, but all of our puppies have the qualifications to be wonderful family pets.

We want our puppies to excel not only in conformation, but also in obedience, agility and rally or as devoted, loving family companions. In fact, we encourage our prospective puppy owners to get involved in these activities, not only for the benefit of the puppy, but also for themselves. Poodles make excellent therapy dogs as they are so attuned to human emotions. A number of our puppies are now certified therapy dogs. Another of our dogs is a star on YouTube

Our puppies are well socialized, healthy, outgoing, loving and eager to explore their world. All of our adults have been blood tested for the progressive retinal cone disease form of PRA, before breeding and are clear/normal and all puppies have a two year guarantee against genetic and hereditary defects. Poodles have hair, not fur and do not shed, which makes them an excellent choice for those with allergies.

All of our pet puppies must be spayed or neutered. We will not sell to commercial breeders, pet stores or brokers under any circumstances!!!
With our years of experience, you will be getting a puppy that not only looks like a poodle, but also has the personality and temperament of a poodle.

Tyramara Poodles is now looking to the future by being involved with mentoring, supporting and sponsoring, two lovely, young ladies as they begin their journey into the world of junior and senior handling. Kiera and Klya Brewster of Sunniva Poodles, are now grooming and showing Tyramara poodles and I now get to be the one watching from the sidelines.  By passing on my years of knowledge and experience to the next generation, I am assured that the future of the poodle breed and my love of the dog show world will continue.
